How to connect your Meya bot to Smooch

On Smooch

1. Log in to select (or create) the app you want to connect to Meya
2. Click on the "Settings" tab
3. Create a "Secret Key" that you'll use to authenticate your Meya bot
4. Note the Key ID and Secret

On Meya:

1. Select your app region
2. Enter your Key ID
3. Enter your Secret Key
4. [Optional] Enter the name of the bot agent
5. [Optional] Enter the avatar url of the bot agent
6. [Optional] Enter the email address of the bot agent

App regions

Smooch allows you to host your app on US servers or EU servers. Each region has its own API, so it's important to make sure you select the correct one. If you access your Smooch app by logging into the https://app.eu-1.smooch.io/ your app is hosted in the EU region.
